GK4 KART SERIES AANKONDIGING-ANNOUNCEMENT EVENT 2 VENRAY 8-9 mei-May 2021

We gaan volgende week in het weekeinde van 8-9 mei met event 2 van de GK4 Kart Series naar Raceway Venray.
Met dank aan iedereen die zich hiervoor zo heeft ingezet, in het bijzonder aan de gemeente Venray voor het verlenen van de toestemming.
We zien er naar uit om u weer te treffen en de rijders in actie te zien.

DOCUMENTEN
Alle documenten worden voor u geplaatst als downloads op onze site www.gk4kartseries.com/downloads/ - zoals reglementen, tijdschema’s, Formulier toegang paddock Rijders en Teammanagers, overzicht kosten, inschrijfformulier, formulier technische registratie, en reglement banden.
 
Cpoint PROTOCOL COVID-19 KARTDAGEN 2021
Eén van de eisen die Nederlandse en Belgische overheden stellen is een protocol, ingericht  overeenkomstig de geldende voorschriften. We gaan strak  volgens dit protocol tewerk. Het protocol is als download geplaatst op de GK4 internetsite. We verzoeken u goed notie te nemen van de inhoud, zodat u niet voor verrassingen komt te staan, want iedere aanwezige is zelf individueel verantwoordelijk voor de naleving ervan.
 
AANVULLENDE INFORMATIE
We hebben voor u twee documenten geplaatst als downloads op de GK4 site. Deze documenten moet u (ingevuld) dagelijks aan de poort afgeven:

  1. Paddock Entrance Form – Formulier Toegang Paddock 2021 – Deelnemers-Participant
  2. Paddock Entrance Form – Formulier Toegang Paddock 2021 – Team Managers-Data Managers 

PROCEDURE POORT

  1. U meldt zich bij poort 1, parkeert het voertuig en begeeft u naar het “Covid-gebouw”, eerste gebouw links.
  2. U meldt zich hier bij de EHBO medewerkers en toont/geeft af uw negatieve Covidtest en de formulieren Toegang Paddock Deelnemers/Teammanagers/Datamanagers.
  3. U ontvangt bij akkoord een polsbandje, geldig voor het gehele weekeinde. Hiermee krijgt u toegang bij poort 2.
  4. Deze procedure is eenmalig voor het weekeinde. Het bekomen polsbandje verschaft u hierna de toegang tot het terrein bij poort 1 en 2.

INDELING WEDSTRIJDWEEKEIDNE EN TIJDSCHEMA’S
Dag 1, zaterdag 8 mei: Honda Cadet; Mini-Parilla, Mini-Parilla Nationaal; IAME X30 Junior; IAME X30 Junior Nationaal.
Dag 2, zondag 9 mei: IAME X30 Senior; Senior Nationaal; Open Schakel; Formula Honda 9PK.
De tijdschema’s zaterdag en zondag worden als downloads geplaatst op de GK4 internetsite.

VRIJE TRAININGEN
Op vrijdag 7 mei is de baan geopend voor vrije trainingen.
Voor het tijdschema wordt verwezen naar de website www.racewayvenray.com. (dagelijkse baanprijzen die niet bij het inschrijfgeld zijn inbegrepen).
Op vrijdag mag er niet getraind worden door de 4-taktklassen Honda Cadet en Formula Honda 9PK.
 
PADDOCK / STROOM 

  1. Afname stroom paddock voor het weekeinde is verplicht. Kosten € 10,00 per wedstrijddag, te voldoen a contant bij de administratieve controle.
  2. Tenten kunnen vanaf donderdag 6 mei tussen 12.00 en 17.00 uur worden opgebouwd.
  3. Bij aankomst op het circuit is het noodzakelijk om de paddock verantwoordelijke te contacteren voordat u uw tenten opbouwt; Ben de Feyter (0032479803159). Dit om de goede werking in de paddock niet te verstoren.
  4. Tenten dienen min. 1,5 meter uit elkaar te staan en twee zijden moeten open blijven tbv ventilatie.
  5. Iedere kart moet op een dekzeil, met minimum afmeting 3x4 mtr. worden geplaatst, ter bescherming van de ondergrond.
  6. Ruimtes tussen de karts in de tenten, minimaal 1,5 meter rondom.
  7. Personenwagens en lege bestelwagens moeten buiten de paddock geparkeerd worden. Houdt u er aub rekening mee, dat er gecontroleerd wordt en voertuigen die er niet mogen staan verplaatst dienen te worden, ook als de tent als is opgebouwd.
  8. Voordat u het terrein verlaat, moet de plek van elk team/rijder perfect schoon zijn (geen afval, geen tie-raps, geen banden achterlaten).
  9. Op elke vorm van vervuiling staat voor de overtreder een boete van €500,00.

 
OVERNACHTING

  1. Er is niet in een camping voorzien op het terrein van Raceway Venray.
  2. Er mag in het geheel niet worden overnacht op het gehele terrein.
  3. Er mogen niet meer dan vijf personen samenkomen.
  4. Er mag uiteraard niet gebarbecued of een “feestje gebouwd” worden. Dat doen we uitsluitend in gedachten, dat we weer mogen racen.
  5. Houdt u zich aan de regels, we zijn te gast bij Raceway Venray en moeten ons als zodanig gedragen.

LET U AUB IN HET BIJZONDER OP DEZE INFORMATIE

  1. Het warmdraaien van motoren is strikt verboden. Zie het tijdschema van zondag voor de warm-up tijden voor de klasse Open Schakel. Verplichte opwarmzone voor PitBox 1!
  2. Voor nieuwe rijders: op de site staat als download het Inschrijfformulier 2021; neemt u het aub ingevuld en ondertekend mee naar de administratieve controle, dat scheelt ons samen veel tijd.
  3. Het gedragsprotocol is van  toepassing. Respecteer elkaar, de deelnemers en de organisatie.
  4. Transponders zijn te huur via de organisatie. Aan te vragen via de link: http://users.telenet.be/racetiming/contact.htm

SECRETARIAAT EN ADMINISTRATIEVE CONTROLE

  1. Op vrijdagmiddag zal aan het eind van de middag – rond 17.00 uur - de administratieve controle worden opengesteld.
  2. Op zaterdag van 19.00-20.00 uur en op zondag van 08.00-10.30 uur, voor rijders die op de zondag deelnemen en later arriveren.
    Vergeet u aub niet om uw licentie/ouder-kind licentie mee te nemen.
    Deelname op ERB, ééndaags registratie bewijs is mogelijk. Voor Nederlandse rijders aan te vragen via de KNAF; www.knaf.nl.
    Het Secretariaat is buiten de inschrijvingen niet toegankelijk, behoudens indien u door de organisatie wordt uitgenodigd.
  3. Vragen en opmerkingen kunt u schriftelijk indienen via de postlade bij de ingang secretariaat. Vragen worden schriftelijk beantwoord, dan wel telefonisch. Telefoonnummer aub vermelden op het formulier dat u indient.

EXTRA TECHNISCHE CONTROLE
De tijden van de technische controle staan vermeld op het tijdschema.
Er wordt vanwege de drukte een extra technische controle ingelast op vrijdag 7 mei  vanaf 16.00 – 19.00 uur voor alle klassen.
 
HUURMOTOREN
Voor geïnteresseerde rijders is er de mogelijkheid om motoren tegen een strak tarief te huren. Dit geldt voor alle klassen. Info te verkrijgen via de organisatie info@gk4kartseries.com
Extra voor de klasse Honda Cadet bieden we splinternieuwe UT2 motoren te huur aan voor het  strakke tarief € 50,00 voor het hele weekeinde. De wens tot motorhuur kunt u kenbaar maken bij uw favoriete GK4 servicepunt.
 
BANDEN
Banden - zeker de regenbanden -  worden uitsluitend op bestelling geleverd. Vergeet u aub niet om uw banden tijdig te bestellen bij uw GK4 dealer. De lijst met dealers staat voor u klaar als download op onze site. Het centrale bestelpunt: gk4tyres@outlook.be
Uitlevering vrijdag van 12.00–17.00 uur en zaterdag- en zondagochtend van 08.00–09.00 uur bij de DFK truck.

BRIEFING / STARTPROCEDURE
Er zal geen briefing in persoon plaatsvinden.
De briefing wordt in het Nederlands en Engels als download geplaatst op de GK4 site.
Tevens worden documenten geplaats betreffende de startprocedures.
Neemt u aub goed notie van dit document.
 
PRIJSUITREIKING
Er zal geen fysieke prijsuitreiking plaatsvinden.
De trofeeën (ook de trofeetjes voor alle Honda Cadet en Mini-Parilla deelnemers) staan voor u klaar en kunnen telkens na afloop van de afsluitende races worden afgehaald door de prijswinnaars.
 
RESERVERING
De mogelijkheid tot reserveren via de GK4 site wordt woensdagavond 5 mei om 20.00 uur gesloten. De link: www.gk4kartseries.com/inschrijven

LET’S RACE

Next week, weekend May 8-9 we will go with the GK4 Kart Series to Raceway Venray in the Netherlands.
We look forward to meet you all again and to see the drivers in action.
Thanks to everyone who has made such an effort for this, in particular the municipality of Venray that gave us permission to organize this event.

CPOINT PROTOCOL COVID-19 KARTING DAYS 2021
One of the requirements set by the Belgian and Dutch governments is a protocol, set up in accordance with the applicable regulations. We work strictly according to this protocol. The protocol has been placed as a download on the GK4 internet site. We request that you take note of the content, so that you will not be faced with surprises, because everyone present is individually responsible for compliance with it.

PROCEDURE GATE

  1. You report to gate 1, park your vehicle and go to the “Covid building”, first building on the left.
  2. You report to the first aid staff here and show / hand in your negative Covidtest and the forms Access Paddock Participants / Team Managers / Data Managers.
  3. Upon agreement you will receive a wristband, valid for the entire weekend. This will give you access to gate 2.
  4. This procedure is one-off for the weekend. The wristband obtained will then give you access to the site at gates 1 and 2.  

WEEKEND LAYOUT AND SCHEDULES
Day 1, Saturday May 8: Honda Cadet; Mini-Parilla, Mini-Parilla National; IAME X30 Junior; IAME X30 Junior National.
Day 2, Sunday May 9: IAME X30 Senior; Senior National; Open Shifter; Formula Honda 9HP.
 
The time schedules Saturday and Sunday will be placed as downloads on the GK4 internet site.
 
FREE TRAINING
The track is open for free practice sessions on Friday, May 7.
Please refer to the website www.racewayvenray.com for the timetable. (daily court prices not included in the entry fee).
Training is not allowed on Fridays by the 4-stroke classes Honda Cadet and Formula Honda 9HP.

PADDOCK / ELECTRICITY

  1. Purchase of electricity paddock for the weekend is mandatory. Costs € 10.00 per day, to be paid in cash at the administrative control.
  2. Tents can be set up between 12:00 and 17:00 from Thursday, May 6.
  3. Upon arrival at the track, it is necessary to contact the paddock manager before setting up your tents; Ben de Feyter (0032479803159). This in order not to disturb the proper functioning in the paddock.
  4. Tents must be at least 1.5 meters apart and two sides must remain open for ventilation.
  5. Each kart must be placed on a tarpaulin, with a minimum size of 3x4 mtr.
  6. Spaces between the karts in the tents, at least 1.5 meters around.
  7. Cars and empty vans must be parked outside the paddock. Please keep in mind that there will be a check and that vehicles that are not allowed to be parked there must be removed.
  8. Before leaving the site, each team / driver’s area must be perfectly clean (no trash, no tie-raps, no tyres left).
  9. Offenders will be fined €500.00 for any form of pollution.

OVERNIGHT STAY / CAMPING / PADDOCK

  1. There is no camping site on the Raceway Venray site.
  2. On the entire site it is not allowed to spend the night.
  3. No more than five people may congregate.
  4. Obviously, no barbecuing or “partying” is allowed. Please obide the rules, we are guests at Karting des Fagnes and must behave accordingly.

PLEASE PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THIS INFORMATION

  1. Warming up engines is strictly prohibited. See Sunday's timetable for warm-up times for the Open Shifter class. Mandatory warm up zone at PitBox 1!
  2. For new drivers: on the GK4 internetsite you can download the Registration Form 2021; Please fill it in and bring it with you to the administrative control, that will save us and you a lot of time.
  3. The Behavioral Protocol applies. Respect each other, the participants and the organization.
  4. Transponders can be rented through the organization. To be requested via the link: http://users.telenet.be/racetiming/contact.htm

SECRETARIAT AND ADMINSTRATIVE CONTROL

  1. On Friday afternoon, the administrative control will be opened at the end of the afternoon - around 5 p.m.
  2. Please do not forget to bring your license(s).
  3. Participation on ERB, one-day registration certificate, is possible for drivers NL and B.
  4. Two additional administrative controls on Saturday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM, for drivers who participate on Sunday and will arrive later.
  5. The Secretariat is not accessible outside the registrations, unless you are invited by the organization
  6. Questions and comments can be submitted in writing via our messagebox at the entrance to the secretariat. Questions will be answered in writing or by telephone. Please state your telephone number on the form you submit.

EXTRA TECHNICAL CONTROL
The times of the technical control are stated on the timetable.
An extra technical control will be introduced on Friday, May 7, from 4 - 7 pm for all classes.
 
TYRES
Tyres will only be delivered to order.
Please do not forget to order your tyres from your GK4 dealer in time. The list of GK4 dealers is available as download on our internetsite. The central ordering point: gk4tyres@outlook.be
Delivery on Friday from 12:00 to 17:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 09:00 at the DFK truck.
 
BRIEFING / STARTING PROCEDURES (digital)
There will be no briefing in person.
The digital briefing will be placed as a download on the GK4 site in Dutch and English.
Documents will also be posted regarding the starting procedures.
Please take notice of these documents.
 
RESERVATION
The possibility to book via the GK4 site will be closed on Wednesday evening May 5 at 8 p.m. The link: www.gk4kartseries.com/inschrijven
 
PRIZE GIVING
There will be no prize giving in person.
The trophies (including the trophies for all Honda Cadet and Mini-Parilla participants) can be collected by the prize winners after the third and final races.
